Brief info

Ebony Meremikwu is a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner. She graduated with honors from Stephen F. Austin State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing and later continued her education obtaining a Master’s of Science degree from Walden University. Moreover, she is an Advanced practice registered nurse who has over 10 years in critical care medicine. She was the president of the Workplace Environment Committee at a Houston Methodist Hospital creating a safe place for staff, patients, and their families. Also, providing team building activities and training new graduates nurses in the critical care unit. Following that experience, she developed an interest for behavioral health and several years later has provided care to various modalities. 

When human beings experience severe life stressors, it is not uncommon for their lives to unravel. She is passionate about assisting people to find healthy perspectives of themselves and strengthen intra-personal relationships. 

In her spare time, Ebony enjoys spending time with her family and giving back to the community. She mentors’ youth, adolescents and volunteers monthly at homeless shelters.
